My photographs span the divide between rural and urban locations where I aim to discover and document the influence of people, their individual stories, and how history can create a sense of place.
I am interested in how photography can capture memories and retrieve the past from the environments of the present.
With my outdoor nature photography I like to create a fusion, almost, of traditional landscape and social documentary photography, often with man as the focus, but out of the picture.
My urban photography captures the fleeting moments when people pass you by and the moments when buildings or items of interest that are normally missed in the daily rush catches my eye.
